Managing Veterinarian
Swan Creek Veterinary Clinic is seeking a Managing Veterinarian to join our successful practice.
Joint Ownership is optional. As the Managing Veterinarian, you will lead a team of veterinarians, ensuring quality medicine and fostering teamwork. Your role involves coordinating cases, client communication, protocol establishment, and staff education.
This position blends clinical and administrative responsibilities, with 5 hours weekly allocated to administrative tasks. You'll receive management training for six months, virtual meetings with operational leaders, and attend on-site meetings with Managing Veterinarians and Hospital Managers for educational and leisure activities. Our clinic, established in 2007, consists of 2 FT and 2 PT Veterinarians, offering top-notch services including in-house lab, dental radiography, laser therapy, and dentistry.

Associate Veterinarian
Swan Creek Veterinary Clinic in Havre de Grace, MD is looking for a part-time or full-time Veterinarian to join our practice.
Swan Creek Veterinary Clinic opened in 2007 and has since experienced tremendous success. Currently we are comprised of 3 FT and 2 PT Veterinarians. Our hospital may be smaller in size, but our strength and positive energy allows us to provide the best care for our clients. We do this by being dedicated to continuing education, consistently enhancing our range of services, and striving to communicate and educate our clientele.
Our support team and technicians are out of this world. They too are involved in collaboration, education and communication with one another to get the job done and done correctly. We have monthly staff meetings and team building activities where vendors are invited to include CE.
Swan Creek Veterinary Clinic is looking for someone to focus on wellness care and the medical and surgical management of routine cases. Our amazing team will give you the freedom to practice with full support. We value excellent communication skills, work ethic, reliability, and teamwork.
We are open to Veterinarians of all experience levels. If you are a new graduate, we offer mentorship at the hospital level as well as one-on-one training with our mentor veterinarian via a specialized 12-month formal mentorship program.

The Area
Historic Havre de Grace is located on the Susquehanna River at the top of Chesapeake Bay in Harford County, MD. Lots of recreational opportunities abound for you outdoor lovers! We are 45 minutes from Downtown Baltimore and the many dining and sports entertainment options are available. In addition, we are about 90 minutes from the culture and shopping hubs of Philadelphia and Washington, D.C. The beaches of Rehoboth, DE, and Ocean City, MD are under 3 hours away for you beach lovers!
Qualifications
Candidate must be a graduate from an AVMA accredited college or have successfully passed the ECFVG certification program or the PAVE certification program, have a License to practice veterinary medicine in Maryland, and DEA license.
